Ingredients

  • Oreos
  • 8 oz package of cream cheese
  • Dipping chocolate

Instructions

  • In a food processor, crush the Oreos until they become fine crumbs.
  • Add the cream cheese to the food processor and pulse until it is fully combined with the crushed Oreos.
  • Using a small portion scoop or spoon, scoop out the mixture and roll it into balls.
  • Place the Oreo balls on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and chill them in the freezer for at least 30 minutes.
  • In the meantime, melt the dipping chocolate according to the instructions on the packaging.
  • Once the Oreo balls are chilled, remove them from the freezer.
  • Dip each ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and place them back on the parchment paper.
  • Allow the chocolate to set completely. This can be done by letting the balls sit at room temperature or placing them in the refrigerator.
  • Once the chocolate has hardened, transfer the Oreo balls to an airtight container.
  • Store the Oreo balls in the refrigerator or freezer to keep them fresh.

Notes

You can experiment with different types of Oreos, such as double-stuffed or flavored varieties, to add different flavors to your Oreo balls. For added variety, you can decorate the Oreo balls with sprinkles, crushed Oreos, or drizzle them with additional melted chocolate. If you prefer a sweeter taste, you can use white chocolate or flavored melting wafers instead of dipping chocolate. Oreo balls make a great dessert or treat for parties, potlucks, or as a homemade gift for friends and family. Be sure to keep the Oreo balls refrigerated or frozen, as they can soften at room temperature.
